Tips Root New Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Android 3.0 Honeycomb

Tips Root New Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Android 3.0 Honeycomb

Well, that’s as insane as it can certainly get. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is yet hitting roads – June 8 is official release date – however it already got rooted. Now area of the credit would go to Google, not due to creating Android, but because the organization distributed some 5000-6000 special edition Tabs at its annual developer conference yesterday. BTW, because of the kind of meeting it had been, full od devs and writers, it had been pretty guessable too this factor gonna spill the superuser access earlier than any later. And here you go, credit to Mr. birdman and the so-motivated team (pointed out below), we’ve an ADB procedure to root our Galaxy tabs whenever we obtain one – it’s ironic the main can be obtained alomost per month prior to the consumer meant device hits stores – but you know what, we simply love this, right?

  • Here’s the thing you need and just how to root the the Galaxy Tab 10.1:
  • Setup ADB by using this guide.
  • Download this file – allidoiswin.zip: Download  Mirror
  • Transfer the downloaded file to phone’s Sdcard. Copy it to cause of your Sdcard. Take away the USB cable then.
  • Turn On the USB Debugging mode. Visit Configurations – Programs – Development after which tick the USB debugging checkbox.
  • Connect phone to PC.
  • On PC, visit this folder: C drive – Program Files – Android – Android-SDK – Tools. (The concept is to buy towards the ‘tools’ folder of the android sdk installation. Should you installed the android-sdk at every other location than C:Program Files, do accordingly).
  • Now, within the tools folder, hold change_key and right click empty space to obtain a pop-up. Choose ”Open command window here” to spread out the cmd using the right address already there.
  • Within the cmd window, type “adb reboot recovery” (without quotes) striking enter.
  • Your Galaxy tab will reboot into recovery mode.
  • Now, Install the zip file you replicated in step three.
  • That’s it. Reboot the Tab.
  • Well, yet another easy meal, right?
