Overview: WPA Tester is a useful application that allows you to test the security of your home Wi-Fi. If you left the default settings on your private line, WPA Tester will test the actual security, creating the possible default passwords. If your default password is one of those found by the application, you should get into the router settings and enter a personal password in order to prevent attackers can abuse your internet connection!

We don't guarantee support for your connection, because SSIDs and MACs supported in the application are limited. Therefore, a message that specifies that SSID is not supported may appear. All relevant information is available on the "Support" page, within the application!
For routers Fastweb: the SSID (default) is the MAC address of the device. So if you changed the SSID for security, to test the connection should be posted on the SSID field your MAC address (without the colon!).
For routers which the MAC address is required: enter your MAC address without the colons (eg 01:23:45:67:8A:9B becomes 012345678A9B).
For router Thomson SpeedTouch, O2Wireless, Bbox, privat, DMAX, INFINITUM, Orange, BigPond, OTEnet: the computation time can be very slow!
When entering the SSID and the MAC is recommended to distinguish between uppercase and lowercase letters as they appear in the details of your router.
The list of supported SSID is constantly updated, as well as the router!
