Then, a task becomes a plan. Usually, it is hard to distinguish it is a point or a line. Gantt chart is the best friend for you. It looks like project management software. Yes, if you have a big screen, power list will be a good helper. In theory, power list supports any resolution.
Another feature, it is for GTD (Get things done). When you decided to do something, but not confirmed the date or time, just write it down in TBD tab, TBD is used for pending things. When you get the exact time, convert a TBD to a task.
