Change Notification Center Color In iOS 5 Winterboard Theme

It is quite amazing to see, that with the potential that the new Notification Center in iOS 5 has, Apple left it all dull and simple aesthetically. Earlier we covered a post on enabling transparency in the Notification Center with the help of a Cydia tweak, today we have theme, but this time the aim is to change the color of the Notification Center while retaining the fabric like texture on it as well. Enter ColorNotificationCenter, the theme that brings you a set of 5 colors to choose from for your Notification Center.

Now the theme, does not change anything by itself, and nor does it boast any options to configure. Winterboard is needed to enable or disable the colors, that are Red, Blue, Black, Pink and Green.

The theme however, cannot be found in your default Cydia repositories, but you will have to add a new repository to Cydia to find this theme. In Cydia, hit the Manage tab and select Sources. Hit Edit and thenAdd to enter the following address when prompted: http://pepper.net. Once the repository is added, simply look for ColorNotificationCenter in the repository, or simply search for it using the Search tab.
We look forward for more of such tweaks / themes in the future, and hopefully a point where you could create your own colors for the Notification Center.
